Finance and Accounting Support (VN)

Provide bookkeeping and financial support services, ensuring accurate records, reporting, and compliance across client accounts.

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Support professional to assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and transactional accounting tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial data is accurate, organised, and aligned with reporting requirements.

This role suits someone detail-oriented and structured, with experience handling financial records and supporting accounting processes in a multi-client or offshore environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and on time
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation
  • Maintain data in accounting systems such as Xero or QuickBooks
  • Assist in audit preparation and compliance processes
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately

Requirements

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel or spreadsheet tools
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working remotely

Preferred attributes (optional)

  • Experience supporting Australian or US accounting processes
  • Exposure to multi-client or outsourcing environments
  • Experience preparing tax-related reports such as GST or VAT
  • Strong reporting and reconciliation skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams
