Finance and Accounting Support (VN)
Provide bookkeeping and financial support services, ensuring accurate records, reporting, and compliance across client accounts.
We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Support professional to assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and transactional accounting tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial data is accurate, organised, and aligned with reporting requirements.
This role suits someone detail-oriented and structured, with experience handling financial records and supporting accounting processes in a multi-client or offshore environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and on time
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation
- Maintain data in accounting systems such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Assist in audit preparation and compliance processes
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
Requirements
- At least 2–4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel or spreadsheet tools
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks
- Comfortable working remotely
Preferred attributes (optional)
- Experience supporting Australian or US accounting processes
- Exposure to multi-client or outsourcing environments
- Experience preparing tax-related reports such as GST or VAT
- Strong reporting and reconciliation skills
- Experience working with offshore teams
